This is the BEST Japanese restaurant in the area! I've tried many Japanese restaurants in Carnegie, Glen Huntly, and Ormond, but this one was the most INCREDIBLE! The chicken gyoza and beef taka (or tata) were two of the best entrées—flavorful, well-balanced, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth. The seafood plate looked stunning and was super fresh, with great quality—nothing fishy there. We had two different rolls, the Volcano something and the spicy salmon, both of which were awesome and well-seasoned. The eggplant was good; the sauce on top was a bit strong but still fun to try. Highly recommend!

The service is rudimentary but friendly, however it is the food that is impressive, in quality, excellent flavours and serving portions. If you are in this area, Koornang road included, this restaurant has the best quality Japanese food by far.

Nice new Japanese restaurant with great menu options. Food is presented beautifully and is fresh and tastes great! The waitress was also friendly and thoughtful, closing the door to keep the place warm when I entered. I’ve tried other Japanese places on the strip, and this is leading in my opinion. Lunch deals are priced well.

Opened four months ago, April 2024, we dropped in on a Friday just as they were opening for lunch. We ordered a couple of lunch sets and sipped tea while we waited. Although we were the only customers, the meals took about 20 minutes to prepare, but when they arrived I could see why - a beautiful multi-course dinner on a tray. The food was very tasty. Highly recommended!

Agadeshi Tofu is absolutely delish. Edamame was hot and seasoned, large serve. Salmon capacio. Heaven, beautiful and fresh. We had the teriyaki chicken soup, with the suprise Panda, very tasty. Mocktail was a lovely surprise fresh and enjoyable. Highly recommend Great service authentic Japanese.

Just had a fantastic meal at this new spot, currently in its soft opening phase. No surcharge, which is a pleasant surprise! The chef, with 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine, has outdone himself. The beef carpaccio is especially noteworthy - tender, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. Highly recommend giving this place a try for a top-notch dining experience!

A new little hidden gem in Bentleigh The food was just amazing and the staff super friendly The only negative was that the food comes out sporadically ... my friend got her meal - mine came 15 min later - but it was worth the wait. Will definitely be coming back here again
